AI enhanced to be focused for a job in the video game industry
Daniel_Pucci_Game_Industry_Resume_Full_One_Page_compressedFor my resume enhancement I used prompts that were focusing on reframing my essay for the video game industry, instead of the original framing for financial fields. One of the prompts I used was “Tailor my resume toward an entry level role in the video game industry while keeping formatting and design.” I also used “translate the already provided experiences to be more closely related to skills that could be seen as useful for game development, production, or QA.” I also refined my prompts to make sure ChatGPT emphasized teamwork, system based thinking, and player-focused language.
The biggest difference between my revised and original resume is the way which my experiences are presented. It has gone from being focused on financial services and client-based interactions, to organization, workflow, quality control, and collaboration skills. I also made sure that ChatGPT included industry-relevant terminology such as “player experience,” and “quality assurance.”
Through this process I learned how prompt engineering is very heavily based on telling the AI model clear and exact directions. The more specific I wrote my prompts, the closer the result was to what I wants, and therefore became more useful.
